The questions will directly relate to the training and learning you have undertaken on the course along with fundamental rules and regulations that are used in the liquor and alcoholic beverage industry.

Can I do my LCV RSA online course and certificate in Victoria?
Yes. Registered and approved training organisations that are approved by the LCV to deliver the RSA course material can issue the correct certificate.
But, make sure the training provider you choose has the ‘Liquor Control Victoria Approved RSA Provider’ logo on their website. If they do not you will not gain an approved RSL certificate and will be refused work. You will most likely have to re-take the course with an approved provider of the course.
You will need the original RSA certificate number which you can locate at the bottom right corner of your RSA certificate. If your certificate so happened to be issued before 31st of January 2023 then your certificate number can be found in the top-right corner.
What are all the advantages of completing a Responsible Service of Alcohol course and attaining the certificate?
If you hold a valid and authorised RSA certificate from another state or territory, it may not be fully recognised here in Victoria. You will most likely need to sit and complete a bridging course to work at a bar here in Victoria. Through this training course, you will attain and receive a Victorian LCV RSA certificate whihc will allow you to work in Victorian hospitality venues.
For the purposes of regulation an ‘eligible RSA certificate’ means an official and current LCV-approved RSA certification and endorsement. Failure to provide one may mean you will need to do a refresher course.
